UAV-Based Terrain Modeling in Low-Vegetation Areas: A Framework Based on Multiscale Elevation Variation Coefficients

چکیده
The removal of low vegetation is still challenging in UAV photogrammetry. According to the different topographic features expressed by point-cloud data at scales, a vegetation-filtering method based on multiscale elevation-variation coefficients proposed for terrain modeling. First, virtual grids are constructed and average elevation values corresponding point clouds obtained. Second, amount change any two scales each grid calculated obtain difference surface characteristics (degree change) scales. Third, variation coefficient that corresponds largest degree calculated, threshold segmentation performed relation vegetated regions much larger than those regions. Finally, optimal calculation neighborhood radius analyzed, discussed. experimental results show can accurately remove points reserve ground low- densely areas. type I error, II total error study areas range from 1.93 9.20%, 5.83 5.84%, 2.28 7.68%, respectively. 2.43–2.54% lower CSF, TIN, PMF algorithms This provides foundation rapid establishment high-precision DEMs

A Dijkstra Algorithm for Fixed-Wing UAV Motion Planning Based on Terrain Elevation
Abstract. The automatic motion or trajectory planning is essential for several tasks that lead to the autonomy increase of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). This work proposes a Dijkstra algorithm for fixed-wing UAVs trajectory planning. The navigation environments are represented by sets of visibility graphs constructed through the terrain elevations of these environments. Digital elevation mod...

A Multiscale Modeling Framework Based on P Systems
Cellular systems present a highly complex organisation at different scales including the molecular, cellular and colony levels. The complexity at each one of these levels is tightly interrelated. Integrative systems biology aims to obtain a deeper understanding of cellular systems by focusing on the systemic and systematic integration of the different levels of organisation in cellular systems....
متن کاملModeling environmental factors on vegetation destruction in protected areas
Over the past two decades, degradation damage has increased in natural ecosystems. This research focuses solely on the degradation of soil and vegetation cover in Sorkheh Eshpar National Park. For this purpose, some physical properties of the soil (specific gravity and true porosity, moisture content, a percentage of pebbles, acidity and conductivity and soil texture) were measured. Also, the d...

We use a systems approach to develop a predictive model that medical researchers can use to study and treat cancerous tumors. Our multiscale, cell-based model includes intracellular regulations, cellular level dynamics and intercellular interactions, and extracellular chemical dynamics. The intracellular level protein regulations and signaling pathways are described by Boolean networks. The cel...
